GRAND RAPIDS – The acoustic folk rock quartet Bliss will perform a Rhythm on the River Arts Series
concert Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Wright Pavilion on the towpath between the canal and the Maumee River at
the end of Lincoln Street.
Lorilee Ash-Green, Cindy Drabik McFarland, M’Lissa Prottengeier, and Brenda Holdridge have "stepped
outside the box" in the Northwest Ohio music scene with their vocal harmonies and instrumental
colors of violin, two acoustic guitars, keyboard, and percussion.
They incorporate music from various genres in their sets.
On Aug, 3 the series will feature Mustard’s Retreat, a folk duo featuring David Tamulevich and Michael
Hough, from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The free programs are sponsored by the Grand Rapids Historical Society.
