Stephanie Asmus weds Spencer Morris

Stephanie Marie Asmus and Spencer Edwin Morris exchanged wedding vows Nov. 9 at St. Mark’s Lutheran
Church, Bowling Green.
Pastor Jim Paulson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Jennifer Asmus, Haskins. The groom is the son of Bud and Sally
Morris, Sunbury.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white organza. The strapless dress
featured a structured bodice with diagonal ruching. The full skirt had an exaggerated A-line shape and
layers of soft ruffles.
Christine Davis, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Megan Whitt and Kacey Smith, both cousins of the bride; Rachel Deo; and Nicole Asmus,
sister-in-law of the bride.
Flower girls were Ava Asmus and Carson Davis, nieces of the bride, and Amelia Morris, niece of the groom.

Ben Dietzel and Brett Morris, brothers of the groom, served as the best men.
Groomsmen were Josh Adams, Josh Kaiser, and Cory Asmus, brother of the bride.
Carter Asmus, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Pianist-organist was Vicki Hoehner, cousin of the bride, and vocalist was Denise Schutzberg.
A reception was held at Graystone Hall in Perrysburg.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and will reside in Haskins.
The bride graduated from Otsego High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Adrian
College. She is employed by National Payment Corporation.
The groom graduated from Big Walnut High School and Bowling Green State University and holds a Bachelor
of Science in Technology. He is currently a volunteer fireman and EMT for Middleton Township and is
employed by Owens Corning.
