Sautters hold family reunion PDF Print E-mail

A total of 96 descendants of Henry and Elizabeth Sautter and Jacob and Carolyn Sautter met Aug. 11 at the Otsego Stone Shelterhouse for their annual reunion and carry-in dinner.
President Philip Herriman conducted the business meeting which followed. Holli Fortney, secretary-treasurer, gave her report. Each family head introduced themselves and the other members of their family present.
The families of Andrew and Mary Sautter, Hugh and Helen Sautter, and Walter and Nettie (Sautter) Conrad were represented. They came from Arizona, Connecticut, Michigan, New York and all over Ohio.
One birth was reported: Adeline Jane Arthur, daughter of Sara and Josh Arthur; granddaughter of Holli and Mike Fortney.
A death reported was George Waters, husband of Janet (Sautter) Waters.
It was voted to keep the same officers for 2014, Herriman and Fortney, and to have the 2014 reunion at the stone shelter on Aug. 2.
The afternoon was spent enjoying the memorabilia table and playing bingo, conducted by Jackie Shank and Tom Holder.
