|Perrysburg salon's bake sale part of Earth Month activities|

PERRYSBURG - Visit Salon Hazelton during this Earth Month to benefit the Alliance for the Great Lakes.
April is Earth Month and Salon Hazelton is participating in the effort to make our planet a little greener. Throughout the month, the salon will be involving customers in various efforts to benefit the Alliance for the Great Lakes. The salon's goal is $2,325, with several projects planned.
The salon's new Earth Month Cookbook is comprised of over 160 favorite recipes from employees and clients. This second edition is available for a price of $17.95.
The salon will be hosting a bake sale on Monday, Earth Day, and again on Thursday.
Another "green" activity is the sale of plant pots made from newspapers. There are a variety of different seedlings to choose from: Edible Nasturtium, Pansy, Cilantro, Sweet Basil and Chives. Customers can also enter a raffle to win gift baskets that feature business partners Stella's, Swig, Fresh Nails and Barry Bagel, plus salon services and products.
The mission of the Great Lakes Alliance is to conserve and restore the world's largest freshwater resource using policy, education and local efforts.The goal is healthy Great Lakes and clean water for generations of people and wildlife.
Salon Hazelton is located at 131 W. Indiana Ave.
