PEMBERVILLE - The March 6 meeting was opened by President Gwen Schroeder-Zulch, with 11 members present.
Carolyn Borcherding announced that five new members are needed for the unit to reach its membership goal. Anyone eligible to join the auxiliary should call the legion hall and leave a message.
Thank you's were read from Jamie Nuhfer-Ormiston, the Sue Reitzel-Facer family, and the Eastwood Prom Committee for the unit's donation to them.
Members approved placing a quarter-page ad about the auxiliary in the Eastwood Athletic Boosters' program book.
Interviews for Buckeye Girls State were held. The unit will be sending three girls this year: Maddie Jackson, Makayla Bunge and Christina David.
Denise Conrad served dessert.
The final fish fry will be held this Friday, March 29 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Pies are needed from members. Volunteers are also needed that night for prep work, serving and clean-up.
