Area residents are invited to enjoy a student-prepared meal from Owens Community College as the
Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs announce menu selections in the Terrace View Caf?©
during the month of April.
The Terrace View Caf?© spring menu offers international cuisine on Tuesdays and American regional cuisine
on Thursdays.
The international schedule begins next Tuesday, April 8, with a Greek theme featuring pan-seared beef
tips served with hummus and fattoush salad as the entr?©e, and baklava with lemon frozen Greek yogurt
for dessert.
April 15: Ireland – featuring watercress soup with Irish soda bread, Guinness braised leg of rabbit with
Irish champ and whole-roasted baby carrots, and chocolate Irish whiskey cake.

April 10: Cuisine of Louisiana – featuring Crawfish gumbo, Chicken Creole with pan steamed rice and fried
okra, and Banana Foster Bread Pudding with rum-infused whipped cream.
April 17: Cuisine of the American Southwest – Twin Tostadas with Chorizo and Cotija, red chili chicken
enchiladas with cumin rice and avocado salad, cinnamon pumpkin ice cream with sopapillas.
April 24: Cuisine of the Rocky Mountain Region – russet potato skins with housemade smoked salmon and
dilled sour cream, Basque chicken and sausage in spicy tomato sauce with steamed rice and sauteed
vegetables, and blueberry pie.
Each lunch begins at 11:30 a.m., with seating until 12:15.
The student-run Terrace View Caf?© is located in Heritage Hall 113 on the Oregon Road campus, and open to
the public throughout the year. Luncheon cost is $9.50 and reservations are required. Due to the limited
dining period and seating space, an individual party may be seated with other guests.
Takeout is also available and includes a specialty beverage.
