PEMBERVILLE – The Feb. 26 meeting of the Mid-Morning Belles Homemakers Club was held in the community
room of the Union Bank in Pemberville.
Breakfast refreshments were served by Gaylene Smith and Eloise Reitzel. Six members were able to attend
and Mickey Gerwin opened the meeting with a reading entitled "A Lot of Things Are Better" by
Slim Acres.
Roll call was answered to "What is your favorite art activity?" Carolyn Borcherding presented
an introduction to Zentangle Art, which is an art form that anyone can enjoy, even though they may not
think they have such a talent. The members discovered that it is a fun way to create intricate art forms
by drawing structured designs with pencil or pen and they were able to complete a greeting card to take
home.
An Easter egg tree was then decorated with eggs that had previously been made under Gerwin’s direction
and which will be donated to the Pemberville Library.
The next meeting will be held at the library community room on March 26.PEMBERVILLE – The Feb. 26 meeting
