Maria Weber and Daniel Slater exchanged wedding vows April 13 at Village View Church of Christ in Bowling
Green.
Pastor David Boswell conducted the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Grace and Helmut Wuerzinger. The groom is the son of Sharen Martin and Jim
Slater.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her son, Mitchel Weber. She wore an ivory wedding suit, along
with a netted headpiece provided by Lee Welling, and carried a bouquet of yellow tulips with red ribbon
accent in memory of the couple’s grandmothers.
The groom’s son, Christian, served as best man and ring bearer.
Organist for the ceremony was Betti Dawn Boswell and soloist was Michael Kaufman.
A reception was held at SamB’s in Bowling Green.
The couple plans a delayed honeymoon trip to Passau, Germany. The newlyweds are currently making their
home at 13580 Center St., Weston.
The bride is a licensed massage therapist and an instructor at the Blanchard Valley Academy of Massage
Therapy School.
The groom is employed as an electrician for Pioneer Seed.
