|Local Komen golf scramble July 14 at North Baltimore's Birch Run|

NORTH BALTIMORE - The eighth annual Rally for the Cure Charity Golf Scramble will be held July 14 at Birch Run Golf Course on Deshler Road.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., with lunch scheduled at 1 and a 2 p.m. shotgun start.
The event is being presented by the Birch Run Ladies Golf League to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation to battle breast cancer. The $40 fee includes green fees, $20 rally fee, lunch and prizes. Checks may be made payable to the league and mailed to Tami Thomas, treasurer; Birch Run Golf Club; 14451 Deshler Road; North Baltimore, Ohio 45872.

"I have a special interest in this cause because I have had three sisters and two nieces that have had breast cancer," notes Hagemyer, who is the league president.
The rally committee is also seeking businesses and organizations for hole sponsorships, to be offered for $50. Prizes and gift certificates are also sought as donations.
