Classes for parents of kids 3-8 begin Oct. 9
Parenting is a very demanding job - and it doesn't come with a training manual. That's why the Children's Resource Center is once again offering The Incredible Years, a free education program for parents of children 3 to 8 years old.
This fall's class will begin next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 20189 Dixie Highway, Bowling Green.
A light meal and limited childcare are available at each session.
Space in the course is limited. Call Pam McKinley at 419-352-7588 (toll-free 1-888-466-KIDS) to register.
The Incredible Years aims to give parents the tools to discipline effectively, increase their child's self-confidence, and strengthen his or her social skills to be ready to succeed in school.
