BG Parks' Baby Sign class begins Sept. 28
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is offering a new Baby Sign Class. The class will be held on Saturdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Sept. 28 through Nov. 16 at the Veterans North Building in City Park.
Cost for the class is $50 for residents and $58 for non residents. This includes instruction for baby (from birth to age 3) and one family member or expectant parent and one other family member. Additional family members may be registered for $5.

Symphony league presents fashion benefit, luncheon
GRAND RAPIDS - "Notable Fashions," presented by the Toledo Symphony League, will be held Tuesday at Nazareth Hall, 21211 W. River Road.
There will be a social hour and purse auction beginning at 10:30 a.m. A noon luncheon will be served, followed at 1 p.m. by fall fashions from Ragazza of Perrysburg and Sylvania, as well as by CAbi (Carol Anderson By Invitation) independent fashion consultant Pam Pilz.
The cost for a general ticket is $40. Preferred tickets are $50, which includes preferred seating and an exclusive prize drawing. All proceeds will go to the Toledo Symphony League's education program.
Reservations will be taken by Lynda Gilbert of Perrysburg at 419-872-2386.
Also on the planning committee are Pat Donohue, Trina McGivern, TSL President Beth Bowman and President-elect Barbara J. Brown, Jane Falke, Pilz, Sue Lovett, Kelly Rectenwald, Judy and Susan Brandon, Cathy Fife, Heather Russell, Joni Fought and Kyrsten Kachmarik. The co-chairpersons are Deborah Born and Jane Wurth.
Otsego 1983 grads plan reunion next week
TONTOGANY - The Otsego High School Class of 1983 will hold a 30-year reunion next weekend. The Sept. 21 gathering is slated for 7 p.m. at Doc's Restaurant.
Cost is $10 per person, payable at the door, which includes one drink ticket and appetizers. Dinner will be on your own.

End-of-summer tea Wednesday
MAUMEE - The Wolcott House Museum at 1035 River Road will host an End of Summer Tea in the house on Wednesday. There will be two seatings, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., featuring tea sandwiches, desserts and teas.
