Quilt Frolic is Tuesday
NORTH BALTIMORE - Crossroads Quilters will meet for a "Quilt Frolic" on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, 201 S. Second St.
Quilters will be working on their own projects or the club's outreach projects.
Anyone interested in quilting is welcome to attend. Members will be glad to assist beginning quilters. People should bring their own sewing machine, fabric and supplies. An iron, ironing board and cutting board will be supplied.
There is no charge. Quilters may bring a sack lunch or order out from local eateries.

Historical museum tea topic: Wicks on coffee and tea
Seats are still available for the Wood County Historical Museum's upcoming "Coffee, Tea, & Me" program next Thursday at 2 p.m.
This first of the museum's 2013-14 monthly teas will feature an inside look at the "perks" of coffee and tea with Kelly Wicks, owner of Grounds for Thought in Bowling Green. The local roaster and brewer will talk about specialty coffees, history, and industry trends.
Admission to the program and tea with sweet and savory appetizers is $10 for county historical society members, $12 for non-members, and $3 for children ages 10 and under.

The public is also invited to sign up now for one of the museum's other monthly teas:
• Mask-erade on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
• Christmas Tea on Dec. 12 and 19 at 2 p.m.
Dance party Saturday
FINDLAY - Findlay Dance Party will be held Saturday at the Findlay Moose Lodge, 1028 W. Main Cross St. Area adult singles and couples are welcome. The dance runs from 7 to 11 p.m.

Eastwood 1978 Class Reunion this weekend
The Eastwood High School Class of ’78 is celebrating their 35th class reunion this weekend. It will begin with tailgating at 6:30 tonight and then attending the football game as a group.
On Saturday the class will be gathering at 2 p.m. at the Pemberville American Legion shelter house. All class members are encouraged to attend.
