BGHS 1973 reunion Sept. 6-7
The Bowling Green High School Class of 1973 will celebrate its 40-year reunion the weekend of Sept. 6-7. On Friday night classmates will gather at the high school parking lot prior to the football game.
A buffet dinner and beverages will be served from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Dyers Family Dining, 200 Campbell Hill Road. The price is $10 per person at the door. A 50-50 raffle also will be held.
Bridge Hospice offers Forever Memories scrapbook group
Bridge Hospice will be offering a Forever Memories Scrapbook Group focused on loss, grief and healing through the creation of scrapbooks. The group will meet Tuesdays, Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Bridge Hospice, 1037 Conneaut Ave., Suite 204, Bowling Green.
Attendees will join others who have experienced the death of a loved one in creating scrapbooks that will honor the loved one's life and the relationship that was shared. The group is open to any adult, child or family who has experienced a loss. The loved one did not need to be a patient of Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
Forever Memories is an extension of Bridge Bereavement Services Grief Reflection Groups which use the creative arts such as writing, exercise, reading, art or reminiscence to express the physical, mental, social and emotional aspects of grief.
Singles dance Sunday
HOLLAND - Glass City Singles will host its annual Labor Day weekend Fall Singles Jamboree on Sunday from 7 p.m. until midnight at Holland Gardens, 6530 Angola Road.
Admission is $10 and open to area singles ages 21 and over. Some 400 people are expected at this dance.
