Elmwood Class of 1978 plans Aug. 31 reunion
Elmwood High School's Class of 1978 will hold a 35-year reunion on Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. at the Hollywood Casino. The event will take place in a reserved restaurant room and will include a buffet dinner, for $45.

Heinz reunion set Aug. 24
The annual H.J. Heinz employees' reunion will be held Aug. 24 at noon at the home of Daniel Walters, 1501 Napoleon Road, Bowling Green.
Those attending should bring a covered dish to share.

Fullmer family holds first-time reunion
The first-ever Ernest and Lulu (Mansfield) Fullmer reunion was held Saturday in Lima, with many Wood County residents present.  Ernest and Lulu were caught in the tornado that struck Wood County 50 years ago and Ernest was one of the many who died in the path of the storm.  
Virgina Fullmer Hillard and Lois Fullmer Effertz, children of Ernest and Lulu, were in attendance with their husbands. Four other siblings - Dorothy Long, Helen Kline, Paul and Lester - are deceased.
Wood County residents who attended the reunion were Virginia and Doug Hillard, Linda and Tom Crawford, Susie McCracken, and Don and Marianne Kline. Cousins from far away as Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Oregon were also present.  

Singles dance Saturday
FINDLAY - Findlay Dance Party will be held this Saturday at the Findlay Moose Lodge, 1028 W. Main Cross St. The dance will run from 7 to 11 p.m. Singles and couples are welcome; admission is $9. Call (419) 992-1215 for more details.
