Wood County Fair Flower Show seeks volunteers
Set up for the Wood County Fair Flower Show will be this Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Home and Garden World Building. Volunteers are needed to set up tables, place draping, dividers and clean specimen shelves.
Anyone having extra plants or bulbs to donate can drop them off Saturday or any day during the fair. Proceeds go to the Wood County Garden Club and are used for the flower show special awards and plaques.
Exhibitors can submit the information on entries at the Fair Administration offices.  The first show entries will be accepted Monday from 8 until 11 a.m.

Singles dance Friday
HOLLAND - Glass City Singles will host a Capris Ball dance party, for area singles ages 21 and up, this Friday from 8 p.m. until midnight. The location will be Holland Gardens, 6530 Angola Road.
Females wearing capris will be admitted for $7 until 8:30 p.m. Regular admission is $8.
