Quilt Frolic is Tuesday
NORTH BALTIMORE - The Crossroads Quilters will meet for a Quilt Frolic on Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, 201 S. Second St. Quilters will be working on their own projects or the club's outreach projects.
Anyone interested in quilting is welcome to attend. Members will be glad to assist beginning quilters. Bring your own sewing machine, fabric and supplies; an iron, ironing board and cutting board are provided.
There is no charge. Feel free to bring a sack lunch. Call Harlene Wood at 419-257-8043.
Heartbeat offers free Relationship Smarts series
TOLEDO - Do you feel lonely in your relationships? Do you sometimes wonder why you keep making the same relationship mistakes over and over again? Do you know that you deserve better? Or maybe you just need to brush up on your relationship skills.
These topics and many more will be discussed in Relationship Smarts, a free, six-week series on Thursday evenings, for women only, and hosted by Heartbeat of Toledo. The next session starts April 11 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at Heartbeat's offices, 4041 W. Sylvania Ave., across from Franklin Park Mall.
Babysitting is available and refreshments will be served. The program is led by Karen Fischer, a licensed social worker.
