Entries for regional quilt exhibition sought
SYLVANIA - The Kaleidoscope of Quilts XVI quilt show, sponsored by the Glass City Quilt Commission, is accepting entries for its 2013 show to be held July 19 and 20 at the Sylvania Sports & Exhibition Center at Tam O'Shanter, 7060 Sylvania Ave.
To enter, quilts must be made by an individual or group.  A $5 entry fee is charged for each entry.  
Quilts - traditional and non-traditional - may be of any size and may be bed quilts or wall hangings; there are also additional categories for art quilts, legacy quilts (older than 50 years), miniatures, and scrap quilts. Quilted garments, purses and tote bags may also be entered.

Women's seminar March 16
TOLEDO - "Beautiful Purpose of the Uncommon Woman" is the title of a non-denominationl Changed Life Seminar slated for March 16 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 Laskey Road.
The speaker will be Susie Larson, a radio host with a weekly program. She and her husband live in Andover, Minn., and have three grown sons.
The program includes registration, muffins, coffee and tea at 8:16 a.m., with the morning session at 9 a.m., lunch at noon and an afternoon session from 1-2:45.
The registration fee is $25, with checks payable to Changed Life Seminar. Send fee with name, address, phone and the church one attends, to Judy Dashner, 1135 Borg Ave., Temperance, Mich. 48182; phone 734-850-1135.
The registration deadline is Friday.
