K of C to hold spaghetti dinner for Heartbeat, other charities
PERRYSBURG – The Knights of Columbus Council No. 7978 will be holding a spaghetti dinner benefit for
Heartbeat of Toledo and K of C Charities this Friday. The dinner will run from 4:30 – 8 p.m. at
Graystone Hall, 29101 Hufford Road.
The dinner includes pasta, meatballs, salad, bread sticks, desserts and soft drinks. Cost is $10 for
adults and $5 for children 12-5. No reservations are necessary.
Heartbeat of Toledo is an organization whose mission is to provide information and support to women
facing pregnancies and to help moms, dads and babies in need. Among the services available are pregnancy
tests, ultrasound services, and options counseling. Prenatal and parenting lessons are also offered. All
services are free and confidential.
Dance party Saturday
FINDLAY – A Findlay Dance Party will be held Saturday at the Findlay Moose Lodge, 1028 W. Main Cross St.
The dance runs from 7 to 11.
Area adult singles and couples are welcome. Admission is $9. Call 419-992-1215 for details.
Dinner to aid retreat center
FREMONT – Plans are being finalized for the annual Evergreen Elegance fundraiser to benefit Our Lady of
the Pines Retreat Center.
Guests have a choice of seating on Friday, Jan. 24 or Saturday, Jan. 25.
Cost is $85 per person or a couple price of $150. The public is invited to take part in an evening of
fine dining provided by chefs Linda and Tom Lambert. Call The Pines, 419-332-6522 for reservations.
