Larina Herbert and Jesse Ascunce were united in marriage June 22 in an open-air ceremony in a meadow at Woods Walk, Crested Butte, Colo.
Ivy McNally officiated at the 4 p.m. exchange of vows.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Luz Herbert, Colorado Springs, Colo. The groom is the son of Raul and Jo Ascunce, Bowling Green.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white Betsey Johnson dress with a coral sash.
Flower girls were Alana Bricely and Taylor Bricely, nieces of the groom.
The groom played the mandolin during the ceremony.
An outdoor reception was held at Crested Butte. 
The newlyweds plan a honeymoon trip to New Zealand at a later date.
They are making their home at 3601 Arapahoe, Boulder, Colo.
The bride graduated from Rampart High School, Colorado Springs, in 2000 and the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2005. She is employed as a GIS mapper for the Michael Baker Corp. in Denver.
The groom graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1999 and Bowling Green State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in business. He later earned a Bachelor of Education from University of Colorado, Boulder, and is currently employed as a fifth grade teacher at Alpine Elementary in Longmont, Colo.
