TOLEDO - The 11th annual Kilometers for Kidneys Walk will take place April 7 at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo.
Registration is from 12-1 p.m. The 5-K walk begins at 1 p.m. The venue is indoors, so the walk will be held rain or shine.
In lieu of a registration fee, each participant 18 years of age and over is asked to raise or donate at least $25. Proceeds will benefit the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
The deadline to register online is Thursday at www.kfnwo.org. For more details, visit the website or call 419-329-2196.
KFNWO is the area's leading advocacy and support system for those living with chronic kidney disease, their families, and physicians. Its goal is to ease the burden, both emotionally and financially, for those living with the disease and also to increase prevention through public education. Money raised is put directly to work in this 20-county region.
