Dickey-Wedding
Heather Erin Shannon and Jason Palmer Dickey were united in marriage May 19 in a 5 p.m. outdoor ceremony at the Winding Hollow Country Club in New Albany, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of Barry and Linda Shannon, Pickerington. The groom's parents are Kurt and Collette Dickey, Bowling Green.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length champagne gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline accented by lace detailing and a semi-cathedral train trimmed with scalloped lace at the hemline.
Sister of the bride Lori Curtis, Columbus, was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kara Dickey, Bowling Green, sister of the groom; Carley Knisley, Grove City; and Laura Boyer, South Charleston, Ohio.
They all wore floor-length, strapless aqua gowns.
Ashlyn Davis, Atlanta, was the flower girl.
Casey Curtis, Columbus, served as the best man.
Groomsmen were Tyler Dickey and Justin Dickey of Bowling Green, both brothers of the groom; and Thomas Shaw, Lancaster.
Music for the ceremony was provided by a string quartet.
The reception was also held at the country club.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to San Ignacio and Ambergis Caye in Belize. They are making their home in Hidden Valley, Pa.
The bride graduated from Pickerington North High School in 2004, Otterbein College in 2008 and the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She is currently employed at Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital in Mount Pleasant, Pa.
The groom graduated from Otsego High School in 2002, Oklahoma State University in 2007 and the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. He is employed at Brown Equine Hospital in Somerset, Pa.
