Hallie Beattie became the bride of Bryan
Dunklin on Sept. 21. The 2:30 p.m. ceremony was held at Genesis the Church in Royal Oak, Mich.The bride is
the daughter of Dan and Kathy Beattie, Bowling Green. The groom is the son of Barry and Kathy Dunklin,
Sterling Heights, Mich.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a soft chiffon gown with a sweetheart
neckline and simple veil.Molly Beattie, Bowling Green, was the maid of honor for her sister. She wore a long
taupe chiffon gown with a sweetheart neckline.Bridesmaids, wearing identical gowns, were Brittany Dunn,
Bowling Green; Alex Darin, Royal Oak; Adrienne Leone, Clinton Township, Mich.; and sisters of the groom
Megan Amayo, Atlanta, and Laura Dunklin, Sterling Heights.Alexis and Zoe Ishmael of Chicago, nieces of the
groom, were flower girls. They wore long cotton dresses with flowers accenting the empire waistline.Ring
bearer was Myles Ishmael, Chicago, nephew of the groom.Josh Vieth, Macomb, Mich., served as best
man.Groomsmen were Max Beattie, Bowling Green, brother of the bride; Rob Vulaj and Joe Paljaj, both of
Sterling Heights; Ian Williams, Tuscaloosa, Ala., cousin of the groom; and Jeremy Amayo, Atlanta,
brother-in-law of the groom.The ceremony featured acoustic guitar music.A reception was held at Red Run Golf
Club in Royal Oak.The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy and are now at home in Berkley, Mich.The bride
graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2006, Oakland University in 2010 and Bowling Green State
University in 2013. She is employed as a marketing and PR specialist at Gongos, Inc.The groom, a 2010
graduate of Oakland University, is employed as an investment banking analyst at Plante Moran.
