Kevin and Kathy McCloskey, Northwood, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Lynne, to Chad Michael Phillips, son of Michael and Cheryl Phillips, Northwood.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Lake High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  She is a freelance photographer.
The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Northwood High School and a 2010 graduate of Owens Community College. He is employed by Applied Energy Technologies as an engineering technician.
They are planning an Oct. 6 wedding at Mainstreet Church, Walbridge.
