Adnan and Sylvia Fellah, Bowling Green,
announce the engagement of their daughter, Nadiah Fellah, to Sean Abbott-Klafter, son of David and Suzette
Klafter of Brookline, Mass.The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Maumee Valley Country Day School, Toledo,
and a 2006 graduate of Oberlin College where she received a degree (with honors) in art history. She is
completing a Ph.D. at City University of New York, New York City.Abbott-Klafter is a 2002 graduate of
Brookline High School, Brookline, Mass., and a 2006 graduate of Oberlin College. He received a master’s
degree from Stanford University, California in 2012 and is employed as a teacher in New York City where he
was instrumental in starting an entrepreneurial student-run business co-op that designs and produces apparel
for the New York City schools.They are planning a June wedding in New York City and will reside in Brooklyn
after their marriage. An engagement dinner will be given in their honor at Ciao’s Restaurant in Sylvania by
the bride’s parents in December.
