PERRYSBURG – Elisha Dierker and Joel
Borton exchanged wedding vows Oct. 25 at CedarCreek Church.Ben Snyder conducted the 4 p.m. ceremony.The
bride is the daughter of Gary and Lori Dierker, Pemberville Road, Pemberville. The groom is the son of
Todd and Jennie Borton, Centerburg.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace over
satin gown with a corset back. The strapless lace bodice was embellished with a band of pearls,
rhinestones, bugle beads and sequins along the neckline. Sequins were scattered throughout the lace of
the gown, with a beaded motif accent at the hip. Scalloped lace encircled the hemline and chapel train.
She wore a two-tier ivory veil edged with crystals, bugle beads and pearls.Kelsey Lauck, Columbus, was
the maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Hannah Renollet, Bradner; MJ Tyda, Bowling Green; Cathy Hahn,
Whitehouse; Amanda Loomis, Monroe, Mich.; and Samantha DeVerna, Genoa, cousin of the bride.The
attendants wore floor-length grape chiffon dresses with ruched sweetheart empire necklines and slim
A-line skirts.The flower girl was Piper Sutton of Pemberville, cousin of the bride.Jared Borton,
Centerburg, served as best man for his brother.Groomsmen were Kyle Dierker, brother of the bride, and
Skylar Dierker, cousin of the bride, both of Pemberville; Corey Tyda and Codey Tyda, both cousins of the
groom, of Bowling Green; and Collin Bumpus, Centerburg.Vocalists for the ceremony were Cory and Lindsey
Payne.A reception was held at the Freeport Banquet Hall, Wayne, with music furnished by Decorative
Sound.The newlyweds are now at home in Naples, Fla.The bride graduated from Eastwood High School in 2007
and Ashland University in 2010.The groom graduated from Centerburg High School in 2009 and from Bowling
Green State University in 2012. He is employed as a flight instructor at RexAir Flight School.
