County library to host author events and book groups

The Wood County District Public Library in Bowling Green has a full calendar of book groups and author
events for adults slated during April.
On April 2 at 10:30 a.m. the Read for Inspiration book group will discuss the book Gods & Kings
by Lynn Austin in the second floor Reading Lounge.
On April 7 at 7 p.m. the Monday Mysteries group will discuss Rumpole and the Penge Bungalow Murders by
John Mortimer. The meeting will be held in the Carter House.
There will be a Local Author Fair on April 12 from 1- 4:30 p.m. in the atrium and second floor.
The public is invited to meet local writers, attend sessions on children’s literature, self-publishing,
memoir-writing, and comic books. Participating authors are Bowling Green’s Jean Ann Geist who wrote
"Only on the Radio" and "Only in the Movies"; Rona Klein; Larry Nader; and Lois
Sonnenberg, author of "Grave Tales: A Mother Goose Spoof."
Other local authors must apply at the library by March 28.
Also slated next month:
• April 16 at 7 p.m. – Meet the Authors session featuring Judy Clemens and Libby Fischer Hellman at the
Carter House.
• April 17 at 10:30 a.m. in the Carter House – Coffee Talk book group, discussing Me Before You by Jojo
Moyles.
• April 22 at 10:30 a.m. in the Carter House – Just the Facts book group reviews Visit Sunny Chernobyl by
Blackwell.
All events are free and open to all.
