|Corn recipes sought for August contest|

Cindy Gerken's recipe is the winner of this month's Bowling Green Farmer's Market contest, dedicated to recipes featuring summer squash. The category included zucchini, crookneck, straightneck and scallop/Patty pan squash varieties.
Next month's contest is dedicated to recipes featuring corn as an ingredient. The deadline for entry submission is this Wednesday at 8 p.m. The winner will be chosen and samples offered to the public at the Aug. 21 market.
Entry forms are available now at the Downtown Bowling Green office at 121 E. Wooster St. as well as on the Farm and Garden pages of The Sentinel-Tribune's website, www.sent-trib.com They can also be picked up Wednesday at the farmer's market.
