PERRYSBURG - The 577 Foundation is announcing its schedule of March classes.
Pre-registration is required for all classes at www.577foundation.org or 419-874-4174.
Adult classes are:
• Saturday Pottery featuring trimming and finishing - this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon or 1:30-4:30 p.m.; $15 fee. Class is for intermediate and advanced students; includes individual attention & demonstrations. ¬†
• Spring Wreathmaking - Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.; $20 fee. Make a shabby chic fabric wreath to dress up your door this spring. Everything to make the wreath provided. Bring: Glue gun, and any personal embellishments  (ribbon, plastic eggs, flowers) in your favorite color.
• Your First Pair of Socks - Fridays, March 8, 15, and Wednesday March 27 from 2-4 p.m.; $25 fee.
Must know the basics of knitting, including increase and decrease stitches. Bring size US 6 double point needles and washable, worsted weight yarn.
• Saturday Pottery featuring: Garden Art - March 9 from 9 a.m. to noon or 1:30-4:30 p.m.; $15 fee. For intermediate and advanced pottery students.
• Stamped Cards and Paper Crafts - March 11 - 6:30-8:30 p.m.; $20 fee.¬†Create a St. Patty's Day card and a leprechaun treat to share; stamp a card featuring bunnies and spring colors; make some 3D flowers for the Easter dinner table or gift packaging; and mini gift cards featuring kites and pinwheels. Class is suitable for beginner or seasoned stampers.
• Carve a Shelf Elf - March 12 from 6-8:30 p.m.; $25 fee.¬†Carve a one-of-a-kind elf to sit on a shelf or over a doorway. Beginner and experienced carvers welcome. Some tools will be provided.
• Glass Bracelet and Earrings - March 13 from 6-8 p.m.; $19 fee. Create your own bracelet and earring set of lamp work and furnace glass beads; pick from a variety of colors, styles. Gift boxes provided.
• Carve a Whimsical Cottage - March 14 from 1-3:30 p.m.; $25 fee.
Carve a cottage from cottonwood bark to set on a shelf or hang as an ornament. Beginner & experienced carvers welcome.  
• Oil Roughing Class - March 16 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; $45 fee. Pen & Ink Rose with oil roughing techniques on a paper-mache box. Pen, oil paints and supplies provided. Bring sack lunch & drink.
• Homemade Whole Grain Breads - March 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; $20 fee. Using a simple technique, bake grain breads without special equipment or  kneading, Explore different types of wheat and other grains that work well in whole grain breads. Go home with dough ready to bake.
•Yoga Nidra Integrative Relaxation - March 25 from 6:30-8 p.m.; $15 fee. Learn easily practiced meditation techniques to reverse effects of stress.
