Donate books to hospice
The Bridge Hospice Care Center, located on the Heritage Corner Health Care Campus, is seeking donations for its lending library. The lending library is available to hospice patients as well as their family and friends.
Donations needed include books for children and adults, DVDs and CDs of all types.
"Sometimes a patient's family finds themselves awake in the middle of the night and need a movie or a book to pass the time," said Gayle Zeigler, clinical supervisor. "Other times, for both patients and families music can bring back memories and be soothing. It's amazing how a book, movie or song can provide a degree of comfort."
Drop donations off at the center, 1069 Klotz Road. For more information, call (419) 352-9808.
