Bridge Bereavement Services is offering area youth an opportunity to work through grief by spending time with horses. Grief Trails allows children, ages 6-12 years old, to learn through horses about the importance of communicating emotions and needs to others.
Grief Trails will be held in Bowling Green and Findlay. The Bowling Green program will be held July 9 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at On the Bit Farm, 20113 Haskins Road, Bowling Green.
The Findlay program will be held July 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Triple T Western Bed & Breakfast, 6717 Township Road 215, Findlay.
In this program, children come together with their peers in an encouraging environment and participate in activities that will help them express their feelings, learn effective communication tools and have fun at the same time.
Grief Trails is being offer through Bridge's Group S.T.A.R., which stands for Special Times Always Remembered. To RSVP, call Bridge Hospice at 1-800-982-3306 or e-mail Amber at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
