PERRYSBURG – Kaley Marie Bostdorff and
Chrystopher Charles Nicholson were united in marriage Sept. 28 at Blessed John XXIII Catholic Church.Fr.
Herb Weber was celebrant for the 2 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Jim and Selene Bostdorff,
Mitchell Road, Bowling Green. The groom is the son of Doug and Theresa Nicholson, Grove City.Given in
marriage by her father, the bride chose a floor length, fit-and-flare style Maggie Sottero gown of ivory
organza. It featured a scalloped sweetheart neckline, corset closure and chapel-length train. The gown was
highlighted with all-over venise lace motifs and accented with a jeweled belt. Kaley’s grandmother, Jean
Scott, designed and made the matching fingertip veil using the same venise lace.Hannah Bostdorff, Cleveland,
was the maid of honor for her sister.Bridesmaids were Jennifer Harter, Grand Rapids; Leigh Anne Taylor,
Miamiburg; Niki Koch, Bowling Green, Ky.; Sana Syal, Ann Arbor, Mich.; and Jenn Hough, New York, N.Y. They
all wore strapless, floor-length charcoal dresses with sweetheart necklines.The flower girl was Olivia
Thompson of Columbus, cousin of the groom.Dusttin Nicholson, Grove City, served as best man for his
brother.Groomsmen were Chris Sever, Cleveland; Doug Appel and David Peterson, both of Columbus; David
Bostdorff, Bowling Green, brother of the bride; Luke Pritts, Flushing, Ohio; and Matt Friend, Starkville,
Miss.Musicians for the ceremony were Michael Puppos, pianist and soloist, and Lance Witty, trumpeter.A
reception was held in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom at Bowling Green State University.The newlyweds are now at
home at 3451 24th Ave S. No. 109, Grand Forks, N.D. 58201.The bride graduated from Otsego High School in
2006. She earned a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education from Ohio State University in 2010 and a
Master of Education in 2011. She is currently employed at Manvel Public School, Manvel, N.D.The groom, a
2006 graduate of Bishop Ready High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ohio State.
He is presently serving in the United States Air Force.
