Toledo author Nick Haskins will be in Bowling Green signing copies of his latest book, "My
Husband’s Wife," during this Saturday’s Holiday Bazaar at Grounds for Thought. The event, which runs
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature several area authors as well as local artisans and jewelry
designers. Also slated to be signing copies of his newly published book at the Grounds for Thought bazaar
will be Dr. Nathan Crook, a Bowling Green State University assistant professor. Crook is the author of
"A Culinary History of the Great Black Swamp: Buckeye Candy, Bratwurst and Apple Butter."A
separate story in today’s Cook’s Corner, on page 8, features one of the recipes included in that book, a
peanut butter pie from Bowling Green amateur baker Father John Russin.Haskins’newly-unveiled work, by
contrast, is a fast-paced novel. It showcases "a distorted husband, two loving wives, and three
soon-to-be-shattered lives."A brief publisher’s synopsis is offered below:"When Dr. Erick Reynolds
said "I do" he meant it, both times. The wealthy dentist married Katie Morgan – the sassy,
unsuccessful, hateful blonde seven days, fourteen hours, and six minutes before he wedded Courtney Byrd –
the ambitious entrepreneur who has everything including an Ivy League education, thin waist, and a Colgate
smile."Matching wedding rings, identical SUV’s, and two expensive brick homes purchased in the same
neighborhood were all part of the schizophrenic imposter’s double life. He sold Katie and Courtney a dream
that didn’t belong to either of them – a dream he would confiscate without warning in an ending not even the
wives could see coming."Haskins, who is also the self-published author of the novels "On the Edge
of Heat" and "Jamal," completed his first book in early 2009. He is actively working on his
fourth novel, "Betrayed," scheduled to be released in 2014.The 229-page "My Husband’s
Wife" is available as a trade paperback, for $14.99; hardback, $19.99; or e-book for $3.99.For more
