Women's Club to host Dec. 7 holiday boutique PDF Print E-mail

The Bowling Green Women's Club will host its annual Holiday Boutique and Luncheon on Dec. 7 at Stone Ridge Golf Club, 1553 Muirfield Drive.
The boutique will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature fine arts, crafts and gift items. There is no charge for admission.
An assortment of gift baskets will be raffled at the event. The 12 baskets will include such themes as "For My Lady," Holiday Celebrations, coffees, gourmet treats, Teddy Bears, and golfing among others.
The lunch includes a soup and sandwich buffet, plus homemade cookies. Lunch tickets are $12 in advance and $13 at the door. Lunch tickets are available by calling 419-352-6052 or 419-353-5615 or any Women's Club member.

Adnan and Sylvia Fellah, Bowling Green, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nadiah Fellah, to Sean Abbott-Klafter, son of David and Suzette Klafter of Brookline, Mass.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Maumee Valley Country Day School, Toledo, and a 2006 graduate of Oberlin College where she received a degree (with honors) in art history. She is completing a Ph.D. at City University of New York, New York City.
Abbott-Klafter is a 2002 graduate of Brookline High School, Brookline, Mass., and a 2006 graduate of Oberlin College. He received a master's degree from Stanford University, California in 2012 and is employed as a teacher in New York City where he was instrumental in starting an entrepreneurial student-run business co-op that designs and produces apparel for the New York City schools.

Eileen Herringshaw, 7498 Rangeline Road, Rudolph, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Thursday.
The former Eileen Bryan was born Nov. 28, 1923.
She has two children, Nancy Kahlenberg and Joe. There are five grandchildren, Kristen, Kerri, Mark, Tyler and Andrew; and five great-grandchildren.
Cards and calls are welcome.

"GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays" will take place Dec. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the fellowship hall at First Presbyterian Church of Maumee, 200 E. Broadway St. The public seminar includes a free meal.
The event is for people facing the holidays after a loved one's death or separation and divorce. It will feature practical suggestions with experienced leaders, and video interviews with GriefShare and DivorceCare counselors.
Topics to be discussed include why the holidays are tough, what to expect, how the holidays can help you heal, and managing relationships. There will also be a look at how to prepare for the holidays.
Those who attend will receive a book about holiday survival.

Clark Duncan, 10282 Kramer Road, will celebrate his 90th birthday at an open house on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Center Township Fire Hall, 9986 Bowling Green Road East.
The family requests that gifts be omitted.
He was born Nov. 29, 1923.
