Lesley Hettinger and Trent Warnke exchanged wedding vows Sept. 28 at The Inn at St. John's, Plymouth, Mich.
Deacon William Waldman conducted the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Kim Warnke, Bowling Green. The bride is the daughter of Larry and Debbie Hettinger, Tuscola, Ill.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Amy McGaughey, Villa Grove, Ill., was the matron of honor for her sister. Maid of honor was Jessie Kliess, Tuscola.
Bridesmaids were Wendy Payne and Robyn Henderson, both of Royal Oak, Mich.; Kaci Batterton, Stanford, Ill.; and Karly Combest, Rantoul, Ill.

Christopher and Linda Meyer, Bowling Green, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura, to Benjamin Wagner, son of Dr. Mark and Cheryl Wagner of Amherst.
The bride-to-be graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2004. She studied health care administration and business at Bowling Green State University and is currently a risk operations analyst with J.P. Morgan Chase and Co.
Wagner graduated from Marion L. Steele High School, Amherst, in 2004. He then studied biochemistry at BGSU and is now a banking specialist, also with J.P. Morgan Chase in Columbus.
They are planning an April 26, 2014 wedding at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg.

PORTAGE - Karen Deutschman became the bride of Joel Himelhan on Sept. 28 at Christ United Methodist Church.
Rev. Bruce McDaniel conducted the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jay and Anne Deutschman, Bowling Green. The groom is the son of Tom and Lori Himelhan, Lyons.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown with ornate lace detail and a side-split skirt featuring beading and tulle.
Caitlin Kapper, Columbus, was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Janelle Himelhan of Bowling Green, sister of the groom; and Erica Moyer, North Baltimore. Each attendant wore a brown dress in a style of her own choosing.
Flower girl was Brynn Moyer, North Baltimore. She wore an ivory lace dress with lace headband.
Brett Moyer, North Baltimore, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Matt Brown, Sylvania, and Luke Creque, Metamora.
Greg Deutschman and Steve Deutschman of Bowling Green, both brothers of the bride, were ushers.

John and Pat Gorrill, Wayne, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
They were married Nov. 22, 1963 at the Wayne Church of Christ.
The couple has two children, Jeff (Judy), and Michelle (Bob) Gonyer. They also have three grandchildren, Chelsea, Travis and Kortney; and one great-granddaughter.
John Gorrill is retired from Honeywell.
A family dinner is being held, and the Gorrills plan a trip to Tennessee at a later date.

Singles dance to pair nachos, Thanksgiving
HOLLAND - Glass City Singles will host a Thanksgiving Day dance this Friday from 8 p.m. until midnight at Holland Gardens, 6530 Angola Road. There will be a Nachos Night theme.
Admission is $8 and open to all area singles 21 and over. Women wearing red will receive $1 off admission until 8:30.
