Mark and Tiffany (Beaverson) Chouteau of Franklin, Ohio, have chosen the names William David and Jacob Andrew for their twin sons born last summer, on June 28, at Kettering Medical Center. William weighed 3 pounds, 10 ounces, while Jacob weighed 4 pounds, 4 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Dave and Kathy Beaverson, Perrysburg, and Cindy and Terry Robinson, Weston. Paternal grandparents are Norm and Mary Louise Chouteau, Cincinnati. Great-grandparents are Bernadine Beaverson and Donna Holloway, both of Bowling Green; and John and Helen Kidd, Weston.

PERRYSBURG - The 577 Foundation has a full schedule of adult classes being offered during the month of January.
Pre-registration is required for all classes at or 419-874-4174.
The class list includes:
• Creating Soap from Scratch - Wednesday, Jan. 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Create soap from scratch. Learn the cold process method, safety when working with lye, and about different types of soap-making oils to achieve desired type of soap. Bring eye goggles, rubber gloves and a long-sleeved shirt. Go home with a pound of soap.
• Paper Quilling - Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m.; $15.
"Paper Quilling," is the 500-year-old craft of arranging rolled and shaped strips of paper to make a variety of designs. All skill levels welcome.

Quilt Frolic set Jan. 14
NORTH BALTIMORE - Crossroads Quilters will meet for a "Quilt Frolic" next Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, 201 S. Second St.
Quilters will be working on their own projects or the club's outreach projects.
Anyone interested in quilting is welcome to attend.  Members will be glad to assist beginning quilters. Everyone should bring their own sewing machine, fabric and supplies.  An iron, ironing board and cutting board will be supplied.  There is no charge.  Feel free to bring a sack lunch or order out from local eateries.

Jeff and Laurie Ruch, Pemberville, and Marty and Kim Jakubec, Luckey, announce the engagement of their daughter, Korie Renee Ruch, to Ryan Kristopher Anthony. He is the son of Kenneth and Wendy Anthony, Aurora.
The bride-to-be graduated from Eastwood High School in 2003 and from Bowling Green State University in 2007. She is employed as a human resources manager at Macy's.
Anthony is a 1998 graduate of Orange High School and a graduate of Lakeland Community College. He is currently employed as a paramedic at Lake Health Hospital.
They are planning a June 28 wedding at Faith Fellowship Church, Macedonia.
Luckey Legion Auxiliary to host public scrapbooking crop PDF Print E-mail

LUCKEY - The American Legion Auxiliary women are going to host a scrapbooking crop again in 2014.
The event is slated for Feb. 1, a Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.  at the Troy-Webster American Legion Hall.
The 12-hour crop will include two full meals - home-cooked by the women of the auxiliary, an afternoon snack, and beverages all day long. There will be make 'n' takes, and a raffle for scrapbook prizes.
Registrations should be made as soon as possible because the most desirable tables go fast at this annual event. Registration deadline is Jan. 24.
Cost is $38, which includes a 6-foot table, lunch and dinner; or $33 for half of an 8-foot table, plus lunch and dinner. For those who need more space, it will be offered after Jan. 17, if available, at $10 extra for a full 8-foot table.
