FINDLAY - The Findlay Dance Party will host a holiday celebration this Saturday at the Findlay Moose Lodge at 1028 W. Main Cross St. The dance will run from 7 to 11 p.m.
Area adult singles and couples are welcome. Admission is $9.  Call 419-992-1215 for details.

Mike and Karen (Ballard) Mason, Rudolph, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Simpson Building, 1291 Conneaut Ave., Bowling Green.
It is being hosted by their family.
The Masons were married Dec. 24, 1963 at First Christian Church in Bowling Green.
They have two children, Lori (Mark) Schultz, Bowling Green, and Stacy (Denise) Mason, Stafford, Va. They also have seven grandchildren.
Mike Mason is co-owner of Mason's BG Car Care in Bowling Green. Karen Mason works as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Rudolph.

Rod and Lori (Ziegler) Smith, Bloomdale, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.
They were married Dec. 17, 1988 at St. Zion United Brethren Church, Wayne.
The Smiths have three children, Joshua, Emily and Aaron.

Dr. Dean A. Carlson and Jadwiga A. Carlson of Perrysburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Lena Alexandria, to Nathan Michael Shay, son of John and Melissa Estep Shay of Enon.
The future bride graduated in 2010 from Notre Dame Academy, Toledo, and is slated to receive a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ohio Northern University, Ada, in May 2014. She plans to attend medical school in the fall of 2014.  
Her fiancé also expects to graduate from Ohio Northern in May, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He intends to attend graduate school in the fall of 2014.
A wedding date has not yet been set.

PERRYSBURG - Elisha Dierker and Joel Borton exchanged wedding vows Oct. 25 at CedarCreek Church.
Ben Snyder conducted the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Lori Dierker, Pemberville Road, Pemberville. The groom is the son of Todd and Jennie Borton, Centerburg.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace over satin gown with a corset back. The strapless lace bodice was embellished with a band of pearls, rhinestones, bugle beads and sequins along the neckline. Sequins were scattered throughout the lace of the gown, with a beaded motif accent at the hip. Scalloped lace encircled the hemline and chapel train. She wore a two-tier ivory veil edged with crystals, bugle beads and pearls.
