Katie and William Balla IV of Bowling Green are proud to announce the birth of their baby boy- William Balla V, born May 12th at The Toledo Hospital.  Will weighed 6lbs. 12oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long.  Grandparents are Mark and Shelly Heider of Bowling Green and Karen and William Balla III of Rossford.  Great-grandparents are George and Joyce Nickey, Jim and Ruth Heider, Shirley Balla, and Helen Gebhard.

The children of Charles and Dottie Sarver are hosting an open house on Sunday, July 20th, 2014 at Faith United Methodist Church at 111 Main Street in Luckey, Ohio from 2 - 4 p.m. to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. Charlie and Dot were married on July 17, 1954 at St. Rose Parish in Perrysburg, Ohio. They are the parents of seven children, Joy (David) Buck, Sam (Pat) Sarver, Dan (Cheryl) Sarver, Tim Sarver, Sara (Herman) Wensink, Mary (Thom) Jones and Andrew Sarver. They also have 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Charlie retired from the garage door business many years ago. The couple requests no gifts please.

Krysteena Brown and Jacob Lawrence were united in marriage March 29th in the Chapel at Nazareth Hall.
Jeff Cobb officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Tanya Brown, Weston. The groom is the son of Aaron and Christine Lawrence, Dunkirk.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless fit and flare gown with crystal accents and a lace/tulle overlay.
Nicole Bisher, New Baden, IL was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie David, Bradner, cousin of the bride; Sarah Libbe, Perrysburg; Maggie Koch, Toledo; and Megan Riffner, Bowling Green. All bridesmaids wore different floor-length style dress in watermelon.
Serving as the best man was Levi Fennell, Arlington, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Jordan Taber, Ada; Chad David, Bowling Green, cousin of the bride; Eli Herman, Toledo; and Jacob Brown, Weston, brother of the bride.
A reception was held in the Ladyglen East Ballroom at Nazareth Hall, Grand Rapids with music furnished by Sounds of Music. The couple will be honeymooning this summer at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and are making their home at 26322 East Broadway Road, Walbridge.
The bride graduated from Otsego High School in 2004 and The Ohio State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. In 2011 she received a Masters Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She is employed by Penta Career Center as an Agricultural Education Teacher at Oak Harbor High School.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Hardin Northern High School and 2008 graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio. He is currently employed at CSX as a conductor.

Dale and Donna Schmidt will celebrate their 25th Anniversary on Sunday, July 13, 2014 with a reception at the First United Methodist Church, Bowling Green from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  Friends and relatives are invited to attend.  No gifts please.

Robert “Red” and Carol (Samson) Beeker of Pemberville will celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary on Monday June 30, 2014. They were married at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pemberville on June 30, 1949. They are the parents of daughters Deb (Robert) Frakes and the late Linda Beeker. Grandchildren include Matthew (Melissa) Frakes, Rocky River, OH, Ryan Frakes, Perrysburg, Lisa (Patrick) Carney, Emily Beeker and Allison (Dan) Lamb all of Bowling Green. They are the proud Great Grandparents of Shawn, Madison and Lauren Carney and McKenzie, Blake and Nora Lamb. They will be celebrating this special day with their family.
