BG Pregnancy Center plans for annual Banquet for Life

The Bowling Green Pregnancy Center will hold its annual Banquet For Life on March 6 in the Lenhart Grand
Ballroom of the Bowling Green State University Student Union.
This year’s featured speaker will be Catherine Davis, author of The Fight for Life and Taking It to the
Street.
Davis works with the Network of Politically Active Christians (NPAC) in an ongoing effort "to
educate Americans about the holocaustic impact abortion has had on the Black community." A public
speaker and civil rights champion, she is a magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University and attended
the University of Bridgeport School of Law.
Early in 2010, she partnered with The Radiance Foundation to launch one of the most news-generating
campaigns ever, the "Endangered Species" billboard/web campaign. Davis was featured in
numerous television, radio and newspaper features including The NY Times, CNN, MSNBC, ABC World News,
NPR and throughout the blogosphere.
During her Bowling Green appearance she will share her personal story from abortion to grassroots
activist, as she advocates for public policies and a move to hold public officials accountable and
legislatively chip away at the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. She is focused on achieving change
through education, local and state involvement, and peaceful action.
The pregnancy center’s 2014 fundraising event is free and open to the public.
Doors will open for the BG banquet at 6 p.m. Seating begins at 6:30 with dinner at 6:45.
Feb. 27 is the deadline to make reservations for the dinner. Call 419-354-4673 or email:
