Richard and Carol (Carpenter) Klotz of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Wood County, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
They were married Aug. 3, 1962. She grew up in Bowling Green, while he is from Risingsun.
The couple has four children, Sherry Steele, Alaska; Jeff, California; Rick and Paula, both of Florida. They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Richard Klotz is a retired truck driver; Carol was a caregiver. They owned and operated the former Forget Me Not adult family home in Findlay before retiring in 1994 and later moving to Florida.
