Marvin and Vina Krassow, North Baltimore, are celebrating 65 years of marriage on Friday.
They were married June 22, 1947 at the United Brethren in Christ Church in North Baltimore.
The couple has one son, Rev. Douglas Krassow, Wood River, Ill. There are three grandchildren, Aprill, Trent, and USAF Maj. Sean Krassow; and five great-grandchildren.
Marvin Krassow retired from Autolite, Fostoria, in 1988. He was a 25-year member of North Baltimore EMS and received the Civic Service Award in 1990. A World War II veteran, he served with the 97th Division in Europe and later in the Army of Occupation in Japan.
Vina is retired from her home bakery business, where she specialized in wedding cakes.
Cards are welcome in lieu of gifts.
