Lee and Rosie (Frank) Tolles, Grand Rapids, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party given for them at their son's house.
The couple was married June 28,1963 in Frankfort, Germany, where they met when Lee Tolles was serving in the U.S. Army. They moved to Grand Rapids in January 1964, where they have lived for the past 50 years.
The couple have four surviving children, Pam Long, Grand Rapids; Charlotte Amos, Napoleon; Ron and Tony, both of Deshler. Another son, Larry, is deceased. They also have 12 grandchildren three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
