Statham-Ring-Wedding
Abigail Statham and Robert Ring celebrated the sacrament of marriage July 6 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.

Fr. Nicholas Weibl officiated the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Alisa Statham, Risingsun.  The groom is the son of Thomas and Linda Ring of Sparta, Wis.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless floor-length lace and satin gown and cathedral veil made by her grandmother Annetta Alexander, of Wayne. The bride carried a bouquet of cascading white roses arranged by the groom's sister-in-law, Theresa Ring.

Kathrine Statham of Risingsun, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Madison Statham, sister of the bride; Shallon Gabel, Fostoria; Khanh Pham, Houston; Anne Conover, Fort Worth, Texas; and Claire Mattison, Minneapolis.

The attendants all wore knee-length olive green linen dresses with sweetheart necklines.  

Isabella Statham of Aurora, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a white satin dress with white grosgrain ribbon sash.

Ring bearer was Donovan Statham, brother of the bride.

Michael Ring, Rochester, Minn., served as best man for his brother.

Groomsmen were Taylor Flock, Sparta; Andrew Fiegen, Onalaska, Wis.; Stephen Wandor, Midland, Mich.; Matthew Donley, Houston; and Zach Harris, Dallas;  

Musicians for the ceremony were cantor Carole Schultz and organist Lindsay Marugg.

A reception was held at Freeport Banquet Hall in Wayne, with music furnished by Mark Sonnick, Ridgewood, N.J.  

The couple now reside in Philadelphia.

The bride graduated from St. Wendelin High School in 2009 and the University of Notre Dame in 2013.

The groom graduated from Aquinas High School, LaCrosse, Wis., in 2009 and earned a degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2013. He is currently enrolled in graduate studies at the Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic Medicine.
