ORDINANCE NO. 8301 Passed Dec. 16, 2013 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE UTILITIES DIRECTOR TO ISSUE PAYMENT TO TOLEDO EDISON FOR MUTUAL AID ASSISTANCE DURING JULY 2013, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWLING GREEN, COUNTY OF WOOD, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Utilities Director is hereby authorized to issue payment to Toledo Edison for mutual aid assistance delivered to the City of Bowling Green during July 2013 in accordance with invoices submitted to the City by Toledo Edison. SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect as an emergency measure. The reason for the emergency is to provide for the prompt payment of money owed to Toledo Edison for aid during a time of emergency for the City, thereby protecting the public health, safety and well-being of our citizens.
