All bids shall be sealed
and plainly marked: “Sealed Bid for 2014 Freedom/Webster Township Road
Resurfacing Project”.
A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, as required
by O.R.C. Section 153.54 along with a statement that no personal
property taxes per O.R.C. Section 5719.042 are unpaid shall be included
in each bid.
Contractors shall comply with the equal employment
opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123,
the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order
84-9.
Bidders shall also comply with the prevailing wage requirements
contained in the O.R.C. Section 4115.03 to 4115.16.
A contract
will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder.
The Freedom and Webster
Township Trustees may reject any or all of the bids and reserve the
right to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid that do not
affect or destroy competitive bidding.

Public Notice The Governing Board of the Wood County
Educational Service Center hereby gives public notice in accordance with
Section 3307.353 of the O.R.C. that S. Kyle Kanuckel, previously
employed with the Education Service Center as Superintendent, and Gina
Fernbaugh, previously employed as Treasurer, submitted notice of
retirement effective January 1, 2015, and is seeking employment with the
Center in such positions following retirement. The Board will hold a
public meeting to the issue of S. Kyle Kanuckel and Gina Fernbaugh being
employed with the Center at 4 p.m. on August 26, 2014 at the Wood
County Educational Service Center.
