INVITATION FOR BIDS SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS (SCBA) Sealed bids will be accepted by the Municipal Administrator, 25 North Second Street, City of Waterville, Ohio 43566 until 2:00 pm E.D.T., July 31, 2013 for a contract to provide eighteen self-contained breathing apparatus. Specifications are on file at the office of the office of the Municipal Administrator located at 25 North Second Street, and can be picked up from same at no charge. Each bid must contain the full name and address of the bidder and the amount of compensation for which it will contract with the City of Waterville. The bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10 %) of the total bid amount payable to the City of Waterville as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into between the successful bidder and the City. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time or not accompanied by a satisfactory check will neither be read or considered. Bids should be submitted on the appropriate bid form. Each bid shall be signed and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS”and addressed to the Municipal Administrator, City of Waterville.
