OHIO ORDINANCE 2010-6 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING
NOXIOUS WEEDS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF
HOYTVILLE, WOOD COUNTY, OHIO WHEREAS:
the legislative authority of the Village of Hoytville, Wood County,
Ohio has determined that noxious weeds are a nuisance in the Village and
detrimental to the enjoyment of the Village by residents;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE OF HOYTVILLE, WOOD COUNTY, OHIO:
Section 1:
That no owner, lessee, agent, or tenant of land shall permit noxious
weeds or grass to grow to a height exceeding twelve (12) inches in
height. Failure to keep such weeds or grass cut in conformity with this
section shall constitute a violation hereof. Section 2: That violation of this
ordinance shall be a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Section 3:
If weeds or grass are not abated or cut within seven (7) days of first
notice the Village may take action to cut the weeds. The owner of the
property shall be billed by the Village a base amount of $125 for the
first hour of cutting and $25 per hour for each additional hour of

NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF HOYTVILLE, WOOD COUNTY
OHIO ORDINANCE 2010-6 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING
NOXIOUS WEEDS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF
HOYTVILLE, WOOD COUNTY, OHIO WHEREAS:
the legislative authority of the Village of Hoytville, Wood County,
Ohio has determined that noxious weeds are a nuisance in the Village and
detrimental to the enjoyment of the Village by residents;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE OF HOYTVILLE, WOOD COUNTY, OHIO:
Section 1:
That no owner, lessee, agent, or tenant of land shall permit noxious
weeds or grass to grow to a height exceeding twelve (12) inches in
height. Failure to keep such weeds or grass cut in conformity with this
section shall constitute a violation hereof. Section 2: That violation of this
ordinance shall be a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Section 3:
If weeds or grass are not abated or cut within seven (7) days of first
notice the Village may take action to cut the weeds. The owner of the
property shall be billed by the Village a base amount of $125 for the
first hour of cutting and $25 per hour for each additional hour of
