NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of Freedom Township, Wood County, Ohio will receive sealed bids until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at the Freedom Township Office located at 198 Water Street, P.O. Box 796, Pemberville, Ohio 43450. Bids will be opened and read immediately thereafter. Bidders shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, machinery and equipment necessary for the 2013 Road Resurfacing Project. This project includes Resurfacing Gibsonburg Road from the CSX Railroad Crossing east to Bradner Road (.69 miles) and a patch on Elmore Road east of Bradner Road (.071 miles) using the “Hot Mix” Resurfacing Program. Specifications and plans, provided by the Wood County Engineers Office on the above project, can be obtained at the Freedom Township Office in Pemberville, Ohio by contacting the Freedom Township Fiscal Officer at 419-287-4626. All bids shall be sealed and plainly marked: “Sealed Bid for 2013 Road Resurfacing Project”. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, as required by O.R.C. Section 153.54 along with a statement that no personal property taxes per O.R.C. Section 5719.042 are unpaid shall be included in each bid. Contractors shall comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9.
