REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION ADVERTISEMENT Bowling Green State University is soliciting Request for Qualifications (CM at Risk Contract), Project Number BGU-135906, for the Moseley Hall Renovation project until 2:00 p.m. May 13, 2013 at the Bowling Green State University Purchasing Department, 103 Park Avenue Warehouse, Bowling Green, Ohio 43403. The renovation of Moseley Hall on the campus of Bowling Green State University is part of the Owner's overall Master Plan objectives. It is proposed to completely gut the building with only the exterior envelope, structure, and circulation stairs remaining. Programming is underway for the targeted LEED Silver minimum renovation. After the proposed renovation, the building will house the following: Math Department offices, support spaces, lab, classrooms, seminar rooms, and collaboration areas. The current intent for the Moseley Hall Renovation would be: a full assessment of the structure with attention to current seismic and other appropriate building codes, identification and design of selective demolition required within the structure for the new work involved with the renovation, a complete assessment of existing utilities required to be brought to the building as part of the new work, the complete replacement of all major utilities within the building, including full MEP systems, new 12.47kV primary power to the building from the existing campus loop, fire alarm, technology systems, etc. The scope will also include upgrades to current ADA requirements, elevator installation, and the addition of a fire suppression system and an emergency generator. All major utilities will be separately metered and monitored by the existing campus BAS (Invensys). Building envelope consisting of roof, masonry and windows will be part of this renovation. This project will utilize the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) project delivery method. The CMR will provide the following categories of services: provide constructability review comments on documents produced by the A/E during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document stages; develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; lead and manage the Subcontractor Prequalification and Bidding process, Construction and Closeout Stage.
