Lisa Wilson and Brett Nowery were united in marriage Oct. 18 at St. John Catholic Church, Jackson, Mich.
Fr. Bob Pienta conducted the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Debbie Wilson, Bowling Green, and Jane Steinert, Toledo. The groom is the son of Donald and Darlene Nowery, Springport, Mich.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless white gown with sheer overlay and beaded embellishments on the front and train. It featured a cathedral-length train.
Christine Mockensturm, Bowling Green, was the matron of honor for her sister. She wore a pewter A-line dress with sheer halter overlay.
Bridesmaids, wearing identical gowns, were Amy Teders, Findlay, sister of the bride; Aimee Coe, Weston; Crystal Nowery of Parma, Mich., sister-in-law of the groom; Bethany Tulgar, Burbank, Calif.; and Debby Brookstein, Olathe, Kansas.
Alissa Mockensturm of Bowling Green, niece of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.
Flower girls were Ashley Mockensturm and Abby Mockensturm of Bowling Green, both nieces of the bride; and Morgan Nowery, Parma, niece of the groom.
 

Chad Nowery of Parma served as best man for his brother.
Groomsmen were Kirk Nowery, Davisburg, Mich., brother of the groom; Frank Pizziketti and Rich Blair, both of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Brian Felcher, Westland, Mich.; and Ben Keeler, Springport, Mich.
Ushers were Tom Andrades, Lansing, Mich., and Craig Suyak, Kalamazoo.
Organist and vocalist Julie Pienkos provided music for the ceremony.
A reception was held at the Potter Center in Jackson, with music by Dance Company.
Following a honeymoon spent at Sandals Whitehouse, Jamaica, the newlyweds are making their home at 321 Bates St., Jackson, Mich. 49202.
The bride graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1995. She earned a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in 1998 and a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2002. She is employed as a medical social worker with Great Lakes Home Health.
The groom graduated from Springport High School in 1994 and from Western Michigan University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree. He is employed as an occupational therapist with Allegiance Health.
