Library catalog 'down' two days
The Wood County District Public Library catalog will be out of service Thursday and Friday for updating.
During this time library staff will not be able to place a hold on items, search the catalog, renew items, process incoming requested items or accept payments for overdue fees or other finds.
Library users will be able to browse for items in the library, check out items with a library card, return items, which will be processed when the system is available and use the public computers, printers, fax and copy machines.

Humane society fundraiser May 29
The Wood County Humane Society will host a wine and cheese benefit plus live and silent auction on May 29 from 6 tot 11 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons, Perrysburg.
The cost is $120 for couples, and $65 single.
Music will be provided by the JoeBob Duda Band, jazz pianist Michael Peslikis, and deejay Amy McLoughlin. Jerry Anderson, WTOL news anchor, will serve as auctioneer.
Among the items up for bid are a vacation in Clearwater Beach, Fla.; golf passes; autographed sports memorabilia; dining opportunities; local works of art; salon and spa services, and much more.

FOP hosts 5K Run Walk Saturday
The Wood County Fraternal Order of Police is hosting its annual 5K Run Walk this Saturday. The race will start and finish at the FOP Hall at the Wood County Fairgrounds.
Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. and the race/walk will start at 8:30. The course will travel Bowling Green neighborhoods and the City Park.
Proceeds will help the Wood County Fraternal Order of Police continue to support positive youth activities in Wood County.

Stony Ridge group to meet
STONY RIDGE - The Stony Ridge Civic Association will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Troy Township Building. All association members as well as community members are encouraged to attend.
On the agenda is this year's festival and future festivals.

Way library to close for two days
PERRYSBURG - Way Library will be closed Thursday and Friday due to an unexpected hardware upgrade from its service provider SEO. No fines will be charged for those two days.
