Eastwood students earn OMEA scores PDF   E-mail

PEMBERVILLE - A number of students from Eastwood Middle School participated in the Ohio Music Education Association Junior High Solo & Ensemble Adjudicated Event held March 28.
The following musicians earned a "superior" rating: E.J. Carr, seventh grade, trumpet solo; and Morgan Corns, Eli Beaudoin, Lyndsay Tenison and Kylie Twining, seventh-grade woodwind quartet.
Students who earned an "excellent" rating included Melissa Bolton, eighth grade, clarinet solo; and Kayla Bierley, Abby Hosley and Sarah Shufeldt, seventh-grade flute trio.
Eighth-grader Skylar Dierker earned a "good" rating for her timpani solo.
Brian Myers directors the Eastwood bands, and Matt Safford is assistant director.
